Newlyn has most general shops and a Post Office. There are also pubs
and restaurants specialising in local fish and seafood.
Although the cottage is tucked away in a traffic free corner, it
is within easy walking distance of the historic Newlyn Art Gallery,
the Pilchard Works Museum, The Meadery and the lively and colourful
fishing harbour.
Penzance, just over a mile away, is the main shopping centre for
the area. There is a frequent bus service to both Penzance and the
picturesque village of Mousehole in the opposite direction. There
is also a pleasant coastal walk to both.

Beyond Newlyn there is access to the unrivalled Cornish countryside.
It is an excellent base from which to explore the many coves and
beaches of the Land's End Peninsula.
