The village has a small general store,
Post Office, home-made ice cream shop, craft shops, ‘the Ship Inn’,
cafes, a fish and chip shop and several restaurants.
Penzance (pictured above),
three miles from Mousehole, is the main shopping centre in the
area. There is a frequent bus service from the village, through Newlyn,
into Penzance. The bus stop is about 100 yards from Mill Cottage
and The Old Post Office holiday homes.
Beyond
the village, the coastal path to Lamorna Cove offers magnificent
scenery and there are walks into the heart of the unrivalled Cornish
country-side. Mousehole is an excellent base from which to explore
the many coves and beaches of the Land’s End Peninsula.
